This is now obsolete and recommended replacement is LC1G225. These contactors have built in coil so you have to choose one with the appropriate coil.

Main Pole Number

2, 3 or 4. Labelled L1, L2, L3, L4 at the top, and T1, T2, T3, T4, at the bottom.

Auxiliary Contact Configuration

Separate to the main poles, these can be any combination in quantity of what's called 'Normally Open (NO)' and 'Normally Closed (NC)' contacts added to the front and/or side of the contactor.

Label Format: 2-digit number ending in 3 or 4 for Normally Open (NO), 2-digit number ending in 1 or 2 for Normally Closed (NC). Usually something like 13, 14 (for NO) or 21, 22 (for NC).

Power rating

You are looking for the kW (kilowatt) value shown on the AC3 table on or around 400V. This is usually a sticker on the front or side of the contactor.
You can select a value a bit higher than your contactor but not lower.

Coil Voltage

Often called the Control Voltage and often a lower voltage value than the main power voltage.

This is the most common mistake people make when ordering contactors. The voltage can be AC and/or DC and it is often found somewhere separate from the main information sticker. Always labelled A1 and A2.

Other things to consider:

Is there installation space on the front and side?
Is there anything physically attached to the contactor? Example: Overload relay, time delay modules, other contactors etc)
