The MLG-Series by Mechan Controls are robust, type 4 light curtains designed for ON/OFF detection.
Transmitter and Receiver come together as a pair and are connected via 14mm resolution, infrared beams.
This provides a reliable and cost-effective access protection for hazardous areas.

The system works by creating an infrared detection zone across the danger area such that any intrusion into the zone results in a stop signal being sent to the machine and the danger being removed.

Response Time: 20ms up to 300mm Curtain. Additional 4ms for each 100mm of Curtain.

Advanced Diagnostics Display

All okay = Green
If the light curtain has detected something, it will turn red and display which specific beam has been interrupted.

Recommended Safety Controller

The Mechan Controls modular safety relay is designed to monitor multiple light curtains on a single system (zone).
No programming required!
