Mechan Controls safety switches of HE series are magnetically coded, solid state non-contact making them easy to install and tolerant to misalignment brilliant for use in machine guarding applications. Solid state makes them more tolerant to shock and vibration and provides single point switching which makes reliable, simple machine guard interlock. HE safety switches are able to connect to the SCU-1 Safety Control Unit making it possible to have up to 30 switches.
Installation Guide Operation
The HE series safety switches have up to 2NO and 1NC solid state outputs along with built in LED.When installed on a machine guard, power is applied, and the switch and actuator are within the specified operating range, the N/O Outputs will be closed, the N/C Output will be open. The actuator can approach the switch from any angle without false tripping. When the guard is closed, the targets on the printed face of the switch and actuator must be aligned.
How does Mechan describe the contact configuration? (IMPORTANT)
Mechan Controls describe the state of the safety contacts as N/O (normally open) and the auxiliary contact as N/C (normally closed) when the door is open and not within operating distance.
Volt Free Outputs
Volt free contacts are invariable mechanical contacts. In order to form a safety circuit, connection to monitored safety inputs is required.

Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy
How to Return an Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 14 days of your purchase. Refunds will be made no later than 7 days after receipt of the goods at Axxa Ltd and confirmation of condition.
1. Please email sales@axxacnc.com to request a return and we will assign you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA).
2. Mail your returned item to: Axxa Ltd, Jumbo Business Park, 2 Beaumont Road, Tunstall, Stoke on Trent, ST6 6BE, United Kingdom.
3. Please include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
Restocking Fee
All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee and this will be deducted from your refund. We do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid for the order.
Manufacturer Defect
All items carry a 12-month warranty. If stock is available Axxa Ltd will replace or repair the faulty item after confirming the condition of the original item. If not we will issue a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is received before the goods are despatched Axxa Ltd will provide a full refund. If the goods have already left our depot then we will attempt to retrieve them. If this is not possible then we will refer you to our Returns, Refunds and Exchanges policy.
